A protest took place outside a hotel in Guyana where police were searching for a missing girl, Adrianna Younge, who had been reported missing after visiting the hotel with her grandmother.

The home of the hotel owner was also set on fire.

The police found her dead in the hotel pool after the premises were emptied. Earlier, a crowd gathered and demanded action, prompting the involvement of Minister of Human Services and Social Security, Dr. Vindhya Persaud.

Despite initial investigations, including checking area cameras which weren’t working, it was discovered that Adrianna had entered a red and black car reportedly rented by a man named Orlando, whose whereabouts are currently unknown.

However, it seems likely that she never left the hotel premises.

I don’t even know what to say but I feel like this is vigilante justice gone way too far. Maybe police should have acted quicker

Then the question surface, why wasn’t there any justice for Chantel? They took the right step in Guyana. Antiguans are just too soft and we settle to anything the police and our PM say. Maybe we shall start burning the prison to get Chantel’s justice.

The will never stand Food4thought. Be reminded the name of the country. We just protest witch plaques and never take necessary steps. Guaranteed Angela and her Apprentice would’ve either been sentenced or killed already if we had to act. But what, we are just waiting until June right? Yeah we will wait. Need to buy me two Guyanese

They say that two wrongs don’t make it right.. but in mathematics two negatives make a positive.

Did the hotel owner contribute towards her death, or was it someone at the hotel? I get their sentiments, but burning down a hotel and the hotel owner’s home is going a step too far. By that idiotic logic, the grandmother should be strung up since the child went missing in her care, and the police stations should be burnt down since they couldn’t find her in time
