Charmaine Donovan, the Chief Executive Officer of the Citizenship by Investment Unit, has expressed her deep sense of achievement following the successful Caribbean Investment Summit 25 (CIS25), which took place in Antigua and Barbuda from April 23-25.
In her reflections after the summit, Donovan shared her immense joy and gratitude for the event’s success.
“We welcomed over 400 delegates from various countries, and the panels and presentations were not only relevant and engaging but also innovative and forward-thinking. The active participation of regional Prime Ministers was a noteworthy first for CIS, highlighting to the international community the significance of this sector and our leaders’ dedication to enhancing the standards of our programs for long-term sustainability,” she stated.
Donovan acknowledged the incredible support from her team, attendees, and sponsors throughout the event.
“A special mention goes to the Prime Minister, the Minister responsible for CIP, the Antiguan and Barbudan government, the CIP Board, sponsors, the task force, our local and international partners, and all volunteers for their steadfast support,” she added.
CIS25 was hosted at the Conference Centre of the American University of Antigua and came at a pivotal moment when the five OECS territories—St. Lucia, St. Kitts-Nevis, Dominica, Grenada, and Antigua and Barbuda—were focusing on investment migration programs.
Good for Antigua and Barbuda
CIS25 sounds like a major success! The involvement of regional Prime Ministers shows just how important investment migration is to the Caribbean. Innovative and forward-thinking panels are exactly what we need to keep our programs sustainable and competitive.
Yes it seem that way and it truly was informative. Had the opportunity to attend and i learned quite a bit. Let us have a little faith in our leaders but still put all trust in God.
