Several leaders of the Antigua and Barbuda Union of Teachers (A&BUT), including President Casroy Charles, have been re-elected to their positions following the organization’s Triennial General Elections.
The voting took place on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at the Clare Hall Secondary School Auditorium.
The union, which has represented educators since its founding in 1926, saw continuity in leadership as many executive positions were uncontested in this election cycle.
The returning leadership team has been actively championing teachers’ rights and improved compensation over the past several years.
I must agree that the teachers union have been doing a good job
Yes i guess we could say that. Not a great one but fairly good.
I guess they were reelected because they doing a good job
Charles is always a rebel who dont compromise. The government don’t like him because of that. I say his re-election is great. We need people like that in office who can stand up against the government
