The much-anticipated runway renovation at V.C. Bird International Airport is set to commence shortly.
The extensive repairs will take place during nighttime hours to minimize disruption to aircraft traffic throughout the day.
The re-paving project is projected to span two years, incorporating new equipment specifically designated for the resurfacing process. To ensure the equipment remains in optimal condition, special sheds will be constructed on-site, designed to meet high construction standards.
