Prime Minister Gaston Browne says certain teachers in Antigua and Barbuda are engaging in political activism, which he believes is aimed at undermining the nation’s reputation.

In recent months, public school educators have participated in various strike actions in response to unresolved issues with the government.

During a recent broadcast on his radio station, Pointe FM, Browne indicated that some of these teachers are affiliated with the Opposition United Progressive Party and have openly declared their political affiliations.
