Foreign Minister E.P. Chet Greene of Antigua and Barbuda has called for closer ties between the Caribbean, Latin America, and China during the 4th China-CELAC Forum in Beijing.
Emphasizing the historic relations between these regions, he highlighted the mutual benefits gained and urged solidarity in response to increasing global tensions.

He expressed support for the Beijing Declaration 2025 and the China-CELAC Joint Action Plan for Cooperation (2025-2027), which aim to enhance trade and collaboration in areas like education, climate resilience, and technology.
He stressed the importance of multilateral coordination among CELAC member states on critical issues such as climate change, pandemic preparedness, and food security to achieve significant results for their populations.
