Chief of Staff in the Office of the Prime Minister, Lionel Max Hurst, stated that Aldin Crump’s new role as the lead for the Airport Runway Rehabilitation Project opens the door for the selection of a new Director of Public Works.

Crump was removed from his director position on Wednesday due to a Cabinet decision and reassigned to oversee the airport project.

Hurst informed reporters during the weekly press briefing on Thursday that this change allows for the appointment of a new director.

  1. I don’t even know how to call this. One time they trying to say this man wasn’t dismissed but still claim to say he’s no longer the Director of public works.

  5. Tbh, to me there was actually an improvement in the quality of roads and sidewalks and repairs in recent times. I think they should redo all the sidewalks in the country to match the new ones including the ramps for wheelchairs and strollers. The uneven heights of sidewalks in the city need to be levelled as well. They should hurry and get going with All Saints road as their next major project since that leads to major tourist sites and peolpe living there deserve good roads as well. So, they were starting to do a good job, maybe just too slowly for some people’s liking.
