Prison Officer charged with Possession of Marijuana

A prison officer has found herself on the wrong side of the law, having reportedly been found in possession of more than the permitted amount of marijuana.

During a stop and search last week Saskia Nanton and two other women were allegedly found with marijuana.

Nanton reportedly had over 200 grams of the substance. All three women were arrested and charged and brought to court where they were granted bail.

Their case was then adjourned.

    This is just sad. What is going on with the ppl we are expecting to uphold the law. This is absolutely poor and she should be fined not only for the marijuana but for the title she holds.

    Our system is so biased and wicked it is not even funny. I am sure she wont be placed at her job …THE PRISON. Instead she will be on bail forever and still making her money
