Addison Browne
Addison Browne has received an additional prison sentence after admitting to sexually assaulting a second minor.
Justice Ann-Marie Smith handed down a sentence of 9 years and 4 months this morning after Browne changed his plea to guilty for unlawful sexual intercourse with a 13-year-old girl in 2020.
The sentence will run consecutively with the 13-year term he is currently serving for a similar offense.
The bus driver is already incarcerated for raping another 13-year-old in 2019. In that case, court records show Browne offered a ride to the victim and her aunt.
After dropping the aunt and her friend at the St John’s Police Station, Browne was entrusted to take the young girl home when her aunt realized she had forgotten her mobile phone.
During testimony at his previous trial, the victim recounted falling asleep in Browne’s vehicle only to wake up and discover her hands and feet bound with white rope.
She stated that Browne had driven to a secluded area under a tree in Potters where he sexually assaulted her before returning her home.
Today’s sentencing concludes the second case against the convict- the brother of Prime Minister Gaston Browne-who will now face a combined prison term of over 22 years for the two convictions involving minors.
Gaston is a thief and his brother is a rapist. They both fit the faces of what they are. Wonder if he’s not ashamed as a Prime Minister to see his brother like this….

As a former 13 year old I cannot begin to comprehend what a grown man can desire from an undeveloped child who cannot even clean themselves properly. Not even my 14 year old, 15 year old or legally consented 16 year old body looked like something that was desirable.
I am appalled that his habits have gone unchecked for so long. I am more than certain there are many other children who were victimized. Sadly only two he has been convicted for.
