Tranquility Park cemetery to open on June 16th (file photo)
The official opening date for the new public cemetery in Tomlinsons, Tranquility Park, has been set for June 16.
After facing several delays, the cemetery is finally ready to be opened. The construction of roads and the parking area has been completed, and additional work is currently being done to prepare the facility for next month’s inauguration.
This schedule aligns with Prime Minister Gaston Browne’s recent statements in Parliament, where he indicated that the cemetery would open in June.
The new cemetery aims to reduce the pressure on the St. Johns Public Cemetery. Tranquillity Park Cemetery will offer well-maintained graves and include a non-denominational chapel.
How many dates have I seen or heard of when it comes ro this particular project? Just like the boys training school. When it’s opened we can rejoice. Until then it’s whatever for me
