VIDEO: Accident Caused Unplanned Electricity Interruption

A vehicular accident early this morning Saturday 31 May, 2025 damaged a utility pole, causing outages in parts of Sir George Walter Highway, Carlisle, Coolidge, Dutchman’s Bay, and Hodges Bay. Most areas have been restored.

As crews continue restoration efforts, a section of Carlisle remains without service due to the need for full pole replacement.

We appreciate your patience as we work to restore power safely and as soon as possible.

Even if lampposts were placed off the roads, hidden in the bushes, our thrill seeking drivers would find them. Let’s face reality. Some people opt for premature death. So, let them be!!! I just hope that those who survive are made to repay the Treasury for damages incurred in restoring services to law abiding tax payers! Enough us enough!
