Boys’ Escape from Training School: Stolen Vehicle, Gas, and Condoms

Denis Bowers Rehabilitation Center

Five boys from the Boys Training School managed to escape yesterday, resulting in a frantic chase that had their families and caretakers on edge.

However, by dawn, all five had returned, though their wild escapade had left many questioning how such a breach of security could occur.

According to reports, the group of boys made a daring getaway, stealing a vehicle from a sales yard on Old Parham Road, owned by a Syrian man.

After their brazen theft, the boys unexpectedly stopped at a nearby gas station, where they filled up their stolen ride and made an unusual purchase—gasoline and condoms.

This strange turn of events only added to the drama of the night, raising eyebrows about the escapees’ intentions.

The police quickly mobilized, and their efforts paid off when they located the boys at Golden Grove.

Four escapees were apprehended while still inside the stolen vehicle.

The final boy returned to the facility on his own, likely aware of the escalating situation and the inevitable consequences of their antics.

Authorities have yet to clarify the circumstances that led to the boys’ escape, but the incident has sparked a critical conversation about security protocols at the training school.

  1. Time to stop treating those criminals like children just to get an approving nod from an ignorant public. These guys are, as old people would say” nit delinquent children but “hard-toan'” criminal smaddy. Either reintroduce the cat o’ nine punishment or send their sorry asses to jail like any other criminal. The public has rights too!! Freedom from harassment from some man’s carelessly spread sperm, for example! Sick and tired of these roving packs of useless, costly, strays creating havoc in the society.

  8. Oh my goodness! I hope these boys are in police hands. Boys Training School is not a prison and some of them boyz need to be in jail. Go where the hard criminals are and get kicked or shoved in your behinds. It seems yall don’t like sweet life. You have a good home, a good bed to sleep and free food to eat and free toilet to shit. Yet you coming with this assness. What if you had killed someone. Buying condoms too. What is this I am reading. How on earth did they manage to escape like that? It’s worrying to think about the lack of security at the facility.
