Sandals Grande Antigua Promotes Four High Performers Within Its Culinary Team

SAINT JOHN’S ANTIGUA, May 31st, 2025 – Sandals Grande Antigua Resort and Spa recently announced the well-deserved promotions of four exceptional team members within the culinary department. The newly promoted team members would have demonstrated unwavering dedication, skill, and passion for creating exceptional dining experiences and are budding leaders within the resorts culinary space.

Carol McRae has been promoted to pastry supervisor and has consistently showcased creativity and expertise in crafting appetizing pastries and desserts. In her new role, she will oversee the pastry team, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality, delightful treats.

Juleen Rose has been promoted to the position of senior sous chef with her culinary talents and leadership abilities being instrumental in the success of the resort’s kitchen operations. Her commitment to excellence and innovative approach to cuisine have earned her this deserved promotion. As senior sous chef, she will play a key role in menu development, managing kitchen operations and mentoring junior chefs.

Lastly, Junior Chefs I-Love Le e and Jaleel Edwards have both been promoted to Cook 2 having consistently demonstrated strong work ethic, and a passion for the culinary arts. Their dedication to mastering cooking techniques and their commitment to teamwork have made them valuable assets to the Sandals Grande Antigua kitchen team.
