Twenty-three-year-old Romano Hall, of Red Hills Road, Kingston 10, has been charged with larceny of a motor vehicle following an incident on Cassia Park Avenue, Kingston 10, in the parish on Monday, May 26.

Reports from the Half-Way Tree police are that a man securely parked and locked his vehicle at a particular location and went home. On his return, he noticed that his car was missing.

A report was made to the police, and an investigation was launched; days later, the vehicle was seen being advertised for sale on Facebook Marketplace.

The police were alerted, and an operation ensued. On Thursday, May 29, Hall was seen in possession of the vehicle; he was subsequently apprehended and taken into custody, and later charged after a question-and-answer session in the presence of his attorney.

His court date is being finalised.
