Milestone Reached at Antigua Cruise Port Upland Development: Piling Phase Completed

St. John’s, Antigua [June 11, 2025]Antigua Cruise Port (ACP) marked a significant achievement on May 27, 2025 with the successful driving of the 377th pile at the upland development site, officially completing the piling works and setting the stage for the next critical phase of construction.

This milestone paves the way for the commencement of pile capping, a key component of the foundation works that will support the new cruise terminal, commercial complex, signature restaurant, and upgraded transportation infrastructure.

Project Manager Ulises Torres and ACP General Manager Gasper George were both on-site to commemorate the occasion. Their presence underscored the continued dedication of the entire project team and the importance of maintaining momentum toward timely completion.

As the project advances, the team remains focused on delivering a modern, efficient, and welcoming port environment aligned with the strategic growth of Antigua and Barbuda’s cruise tourism and the general tourism sector.
