
Amelia Stephen Top Performer at the 2025 G6NA
Twelve-year-old Amelia Stephen of the St Martin Primary School has topped the 2025 Grade 6 National Assessment Examinations.
The results were released by Education Minister Octavia Alfred during a ceremony on Friday.
The other students who made up the top 5 were Peyton Hilarie of the Petite Savanne Primary School who placed second, Casnaya Casimir of the the Newton Primary School in third place, Kinaya Riviere of the St John Primary School who secured the fourth position and Eliana Giraudel of the St Martin Primary School in the fifth position.
Eighty-six (86) scholarships and 108 bursaries were awarded.
A total of 750 candidates, 373 girls, and 377 boys, wrote the exams across 58 centers around the island this year.
According to a press release from the Ministry of Education, Human Resource Planning, Vocational Training and National Excellence the amount allocated to scholars and bursars for textbooks and stationery is $1000.00 and $700 respectively.
