SLBMC Welcomes Second Cohort of 2025 Interns

Yesterday, The Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre (SLBMC) proudly welcomed its second cohort of interns for 2025, bright minds from ABIIT, UWI Mona, and Monroe University, united by a shared calling to serve.

These are future professionals exploring careers across healthcare and support services. During orientation, they explored the heart of SLBMC: the commitment to patient safety, professional growth, and compassionate service.

This isn’t just the start of an internship, it’s the beginning of a lifelong mission to make a difference in the lives of others.”

“To our new interns: Welcome to the SLBMC family. You are the future of healthcare, and your journey starts now.”
