Murder Investigation Launched Following Search in Potter’s Village

A murder investigation has been launched after a search warrant was executed at the residence of a woman in Potter’s Village

According to reports, on June 27, 2025, around 4:30 AM, officers from the CID Task Force and Serious Crime Unit conducted the search in the presence of the woman and another man.

During the search, authorities discovered a quantity of plant-like material resembling cannabis, along with a cellular phone, both of which have been seized for further investigation.

As a result of the findings, the woman was arrested on suspicion of murder and transported to St. John’s Police Station for questioning, while the investigation remains ongoing.

    • it’s a lot to take in. You just hope the police can get to the bottom of it quickly and bring some real answers. It feels like there’s been too much crime happening lately, and it just makes you worry for everyone’s safety.
