Permanent Secretary Colin O’Keiffe of the Ministry of Health, Wellness, Environment, and Civil Service Affairs recently conducted a series of visits across several critical departments within the ministry. His tour included stops at the Department of Environment, the National Solid Waste Management Authority and the Pharmacy Council.

During these visits, Permanent Secretary O’Keiffe along with Principle Assistant Secretary, Gwendolyn Carter-Joseph engaged with management and staff to assess progress on ongoing projects, discuss operational challenges, and encourage closer collaboration across departments. The visits underscore the Ministry’s commitment to enhancing service delivery, promoting environmental sustainability, and advancing public health initiatives across the country.

The Ministry remains committed to ensuring that all departments operate efficiently and effectively to meet the needs of the public and support the government’s overall strategic goals.
