Antigua and Barbuda Association of Persons with Disabilities donates to Jonoy Price
In a heartfelt gesture of support, the Antigua and Barbuda Association of Persons with Disabilities has awarded Jonoy Price, a Jamaican national, a sum of $1,000 to assist with his expenses.
The presentation took place on Saturday, highlighting the association’s commitment to aiding individuals with disabilities in the community.
Jonoy Price, who has been a member of the association for just over a year, was recognized for his continued involvement and need for financial support.

Bernard Warner, the head of the disability association, explained that this initiative follows a previous generous donation from the government, which has helped to address pressing needs within the organization.
“This donation was part of a $5,000 gift we received on Father’s Day. We utilized a portion of those funds to purchase two laptops and other vital equipment for our members,” Warner stated in an interview with Antigua.news. He emphasized that the association felt a strong obligation to assist Price, pledging to donate $1,000 from the recent funds to help him meet some much-needed expenses.
It’s heartwarming to see a Jamaican national embraced and supported by the Antiguan disability community. This is regional unity in action.
Government support like this, when properly managed, makes a real difference in people’s lives. The $5,000 was clearly well spent.
Organizations like this I don’t mind investing in because they give back to their members. Good initiative. God continue to bless this association
