The John Association of Antigua and Barbuda convened its annual general meeting at Government House on July 3, 2025, bringing together members to discuss the organization’s progress and future initiatives.
Chairman Mr. Pedro Corbin and Treasurer Mrs. Pauline Perry provided detailed reports outlining the activities and current status of the association. Key topics included the operations of the two thrift shops, located one at the Hospice and the other on Bishopgate Street, which have been vital in supporting the association’s mission.
The meeting concluded with remarks that resonated with the attendees. Ms. Charlene Selfridge, Chair of the Fundraising Committee, delivered a heartfelt thank-you speech, expressing gratitude for the community’s support.
His Excellency Sir Rodney Williams, Governor General, also shared inspiring insights, reinforcing the importance of the association’s work in the community.
The event highlighted the commitment of the John Association to its objectives and showcased its contributions to local welfare, emphasizing teamwork and community spirit as essential elements for future endeavors.






Well done to the volunteers and leadership. Community-based work like this often goes unnoticed, but it matters so much.
