Installation Ceremony for Antigua Lions Club and Leo Club Officers

An installation ceremony took place at Indies Green, Sea View Farm, welcoming the incoming officers of the Antigua Lions Club and the Antigua Leo Club. Lion Ileathea Cabral, MJF, was elected as the president of the Lions Club for the 2025-2026 term, adopting the theme “Inspiring Future Generations Through Extraordinary Service.”

Meanwhile, Leo Adell Daniel was elected as the president of the Leo Club for the same term, with the theme “Anchored In Service, Fueled By Heart.”

The Lions Club also introduced a new Board of Directors, with Lion Rosyln Zachariah MJF stepping in as the club’s secretary.

The leadership team includes Lion Gail Henry Lewis MJF as the 1st Vice-President, and Lion C. Trystan Williams MJF as the 2nd Vice President.

The Board further comprises Lion Monique Joseph (Treasurer), Lion Kim Joseph PMJF (LCIF Coordinator), Lion Leandra Lewis PMJF (Membership Director), Lion Trevor Ngorosha (Service Chairperson), Lion Shivawn Ellis-Richards (Tail Twister), and Lion Loveness Ngorosha (Lion Tamer). Likewise, the Leo Club’s new Board of Directors features Leo Yanik Josiah as the secretary, Leo Jevonte Spencer as the 1st Vice-President, and Leo-Lion Kenford James as the Treasurer.

The 2025-2026 Installation Dinner and Raffle was a memorable event, hosted by Lion Jacintha Pringle as the Mistress of Ceremonies. Lion Ileathea Cabral was honored as the Lion of the Year for her exemplary service to the club and community, alongside earning the prestigious Melvin Jones Fellow designation, one of Lionism’s highest accolades.

Past President Lion Kim Joseph PMJF presented President’s Appreciation Awards to several members, including Lion Trevor Ngorosha, Lion Loveness Ngorosha, Lion Valerie Gonsalves-Barriero MM MJF, Lion Leslie Ephraim PMJF, and Lion Desire’e Edwards MJF, with additional committee certificates awarded to others. Both the Lions and Leo Presidents addressed their members, with Lion Ileathea Cabral MJF expressing her commitment as the 57th President, acknowledging the groundwork laid by her predecessors while looking forward to the path ahead.
