DJ Khaled with Antiguan and Barbudan souvenir
When you think of celebrities vacationing in the Caribbean, you usually picture them sipping cocktails by the pool in secret hideaways like Jumby Bay or Sandals, preferably with a couple of kids in tow. Enter DJ Khaled, whose idea of a tropical getaway is a bit more… lively!
Since landing at VC Bird International Airport on June 9, Khaled has been soaking up every bit of Antiguan culture and flair. Forget lounging—he’s been busy hitting up the Landing Strip Bar and Restaurant and bringing joy to children at Claudette Peters’ Kiddies Fete, truly embracing the local lifestyle like a pro.

Even the Prime Minister himself, Gaston Browne, made sure Khaled got the full VIP treatment before he left—because who wouldn’t want a selfie with DJ Khaled? The musical mogul has been island-hopping like it’s a competition, from chatting with Premier Cora Richardson-Hodge in Anguilla to knocking on Rihanna’s door in Barbados, all in the name of promoting his upcoming 14th studio album, Aalam of God, set to drop in late 2025.

And of course, he’s been capturing all the island vibes, snapping pictures that make you wish you were there, sun-soaked and dancing to his beats!
