A video circulating on social media and obtained by Antigua.news captures the moments leading up to the shooting of 16-year-old Tafari Joseph.

It is alleged that Tafari, along with another young man, attempted to rob a superette and was shot during the incident.

Afterward, he was reportedly taken back to his home to change his clothes before being taken to the hospital, where he later died.

Currently, five young men are in police custody in connection with this case.

The police are appealing to anyone with information that may assist in the investigation to contact the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913 or call Crime Stoppers at 800-TIPS (8477). All calls will be handled with strict confidentiality.

  6. I think the church’s should be playing a bigger roll in these young men’s life. I got save at a early age so I walk a different road today. Thank you Jesus. The police and the relevant authority can’t do it alone we need all hands on board for our young people.
