A tragic single-vehicle accident claimed the life of a motorcycle rider in Jennings last night.

According to investigators, the motorcycle was traveling from north to south when the rider lost control unexpectedly.

The motorcycle veered onto the sidewalk, resulting in a flip that threw the rider into a nearby utility pole.

Emergency responders arrived promptly, but the rider sustained serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by a district doctor at approximately 6:08 PM.

The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident is ongoing.

His identity is being withheld at this time.

  2. This individual is highly skilled at riding motorcycles, and I find it difficult to believe that he lost control of the bike. Anyone who is friends with him or closely associated would likely agree.

    • Professional racers have accidents all the time. What makes you think that it’s beyond him to lose control? Man made these bikes and they do fail from time to time.

      • Clearly, you may not know this individual personally. He often spends time in his yard working on his motorcycle and frequently rides it up the road to ensure it’s functioning properly. While I understand your perspective, I am confident that loss of control was not the issue. Those of us from Jennings, including his close friends and family, know how skilled and experienced he is when it comes to riding his bike.
