A shooting case against 36-year-old Hezekiah Parker Jr has been postponed until September 11, 2025

A shooting case against 36-year-old Hezekiah Parker Jr has been postponed until September 11, 2025.

Parker, of Wireless Road, remains on remand. He is charged in connection with a shooting that injured a 29-year-old man from Parham in December 2024.

The incident happened on the December 16, 2024, on Redcliffe Street. The victim was reportedly standing along the street when he was shot in the back of the neck. He was rushed to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre for emergency treatment.

Following police investigations, Parker was arrested and charged with Shooting with Intent to do Grievous Bodily Harm, Possession of Firearm with Intent to Endanger Life, Unlawful Possession of Firearm, and Unlawful Possession of Ammunition.
