Philip’s professional philosophy emphasizes that “the purpose of serving others should come from care, not necessity or profit.”
He believes that effective leadership in healthcare requires a genuine concern for stakeholders, asserting, “patients want to know that the healthcare provider cares.”
His leadership approach is expected to positively influence the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre’s commitment to patient-centered care.
His core competencies include Financial Management & Analysis, Healthcare Administration, Board Governance & Strategic Oversight, Business Consulting & Organizational Development, Risk Assessment & Compliance, and Team Leadership & Professional Development.
Wishing Mr. Philip every success. Strong leadership at SLBMC is long overdue.
It’s not the strong leadership that counts under Gassy watch, it’s what Gassy says goes.
With his finance and hospital management background, he seems like a solid choice. Now we’ll see if he delivers.
He is only there as a puppet to do what Gassy said, and be paid a large salary. .
Phillip good luck in your position. Hopefully we can see some improvements in the services offered
This is how it’s done if we are to move Antigua in the right direction Placing highly qualified people with relevant experience in the position for which they’ve been hired is a must. Mr. Philip is highly qualified and experienced and I look forward to positive changes in the health care professionals’ attitudes fostering a caring patient centered hospital.
We’ve seen big appointments before with little to show. I’m rooting for Mr. Philip, but the real test will be results, not résumés.
