A targeted cleanup effort led by the Ottos constituency team has resulted in the removal of a derelict vehicle and accumulated bulk waste that had been causing health and sanitation concerns in the residential area.

The action, carried out earlier today, was prompted by reports that the abandoned vehicle was harboring an infestation and negatively affecting the surrounding environment.

Parliamentary Representative for the area, Daryl Matthew, announced the initiative via a Facebook post, describing it as “a small but meaningful action” that contributes to improving the community’s health and safety.

“Together, we’re building a better neighborhood, one step at a time,” Minister Matthew wrote, underscoring the government’s commitment to maintaining cleaner, safer living environments across Antigua and Barbuda.
