Dashane Whyte Charged With Murder of Steve Chambers

16 year old Hatton resident charged with murder of vonde bowers.

Police report that they have charged 18-year-old Dashane Whyte in connection with the murder of 50-year-old Steve Chambers. Both Whyte and Chambers were residents of Brownes Avenue, where the incident took place.

According to police, Chambers and Whyte are said to have engaged in a dispute on Sunday evening; an incident that escalated into a physical altercation, both men arming themselves with weapons.

Chambers suffered numerous stab wounds to his body and was subsequently transported to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre. He later died from these injuries and was pronounced dead at approximately 8:18 a.m. on Monday, July 28.

Whyte was charged with the offence and was taken into custody after he also received medical treatment for injuries he sustained during the incident.

He will appear in the Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday.

    Excuse me. The one who killed the Syrian is 18 as well. May have been a child at the time of the crime but he was old enough to be charged as an adult. Excuse me

    I’m waiting the age difference. These young men seems to have no respect. And as a grown 50 year old man, what are you doing in a dispute with and 18 year old to even arm yourself with a weapon? These young kids, these no balls boys growing up to be the worse there is. The hope he enjoy jail time

    So It’s important to get justice for chambers and his family but because he is a Syrian, no Justice must be served?Okay I get you.

    This one will definitely be charged as an adult. We need to increase the penalty for murder cause some people really getting away with murder with some of the sentencing they getting

    Will he be getting 2/3 years? And if he gets more than 3 we definitely know that injustice in little ANU is real
