Antigua and Barbuda’s very own Empress has been crowned the 2025 KariSoca monarch.

The competition was held on Tuesday night at the Antigua Recreation Grounds (ARG) where soca artistes from across the region gathered for a chance to win the title.

It is the second edition of the event. Dominica’s Wayne “Mr Benji” Benjamin was crowned the first-ever KariSoca champion last year.

Hope Serrant, stage name-Empress was among 11 competitors in this year’s event. Three of which were fellow countrymen, Zamoni, BlessEye and Young Vice.

The other Caribbean nations included Guyana, Barbados, Trinidad, Montserrat, St Kitts, Dominica, and the US Virgin Islands.

Having competed for the second straight year, Empress improved on her last standing as 1st runner up to now being the champion.

Zamoni was 1st runner up and Guyana’s Dianna was second runner up.
