  3. This is the kind of nonsense I was afraid would happen when these teens are given lenient sentences for committing serious crimes. This has to stop now or Antigua will not be a place anyone with any sense would want to be.

    • Look for more of this… The floodgate has been opened with the three years sentence for murder. The youths have been emboldened. Every ignorance that’s implemented in Canada, the U. S. and Europe they bring here forgetting that we don’t have their resources.

  5. I guess that this sixteen-year old, if found guilty, will also receive the seemingly mandatory 3-year sentence, given his age! Closely watching. 🤔🤔🤔

  8. This story is heartbreaking reminder of the violence that can shatter lives and communities. As a well educated father with 4 boys and I cannot think this happening to them. It’s crucial that justice is served and that those responsible for this senseless act are held accountable. But I wonder if we will ever really see justice. I am from Grays Farm but moved to Mount Peasant thanks to mercy. But people, we must come together as a community to demand justice, not just for Vonde, but for all victims of violence. Let’s honor his memory by advocating for a safer environment for our youth, where they can pursue their passions without fear.
