Yorks homeowner is asking for public assistance identifying burglar

A Yorks resident is calling on the public and authorities for urgent assistance in identifying a burglar who broke into her home in the early hours of Friday, July 18, stealing two television sets.

According to the homeowner, the break-in occurred between 4:15 a.m. and 5:00 a.m., while she was away. The suspect, said to be wearing Clarks shoes, long black pants, and a black and white sweater, appeared to be armed with a sharp object.

The intruder reportedly entered the premises through the backyard, disabled the security camera, and left the door open upon exiting. Despite the home being unattended for only a short time, the thief selectively stole two TVs and left other valuables untouched.

The resident revealed to Antigua.news that this marks at least the second incident, and police have yet to take any actions.

She claims officers previously promised to review video footage from the scene but have failed to follow through.
