Authorities are calling on the community for assistance in identifying the owner of livestock abandoned during a recent police operation in Johnson’s Point.
On Friday morning, officers from the Johnson’s Point and Bolans Police Stations conducted a coordinated stop-and-search operation in the area. During the execution of this operation, a vehicle evaded police, leaving behind two ewe goats. The animals have since been secured and are currently being housed at the Johnson’s Point Police Station.

Police are urging anyone with information that could help identify the owner of the goats or aid in the ongoing investigation to reach out to the Johnson’s Point Police Station at 562-8943 or the Bolans Police Station at 462-1080.
The Police Administration expresses gratitude for the community’s continued cooperation and support.

The fact that the person is a livestock owner might suggest a location or a motive. I hope the police are able to use this information to narrow down their search and find them quickly.
Or it could be that the goats were stolen. Which is why the car try to get away from police
That looks like Becky my goat…. What was she doing all the way out in country?
