Police are currently conducting an investigation into a reported sexual assault involving a tourist at a local hotel

Police are currently conducting an investigation into a reported sexual assault involving a tourist at a local hotel. Authorities have confirmed that a 26-year-old woman alleged she was sexually assaulted by a male employee of the hotel on the night of July 28th.

According to police sources, the victim and her 24-year-old female friend arrived in Antigua and Barbuda on July 27th and checked into their hotel that same evening.

The alleged incident took place after the pair were socializing in the resort’s bar area, where they interacted with several hotel staff members.

Reports suggest that the victim informed a male employee that she was feeling unwell.

Instead of escorting her to her room as he offered, he allegedly took her to another room within the hotel, where the assault occurred.

After the incident, the victim managed to return to the lobby, where she was reunited with her friend, who had been searching for her.

The matter was then reported to the police, who have since launched an investigation into the allegations.

As of now, no arrests have been made, and the investigation is still ongoing.
