Wreath and bat laid in memory of Vonde Bowers at site where he was found

Residents are still in mourning following the tragic death of 17-year-old Vonde Bowers, who was fatally stabbed just days ago.

In his memory, a wreath and a cricket bat have been placed at the site where his lifeless body was discovered.

Bowers was a student at Ottos Comprehensive School and had aspirations of becoming a professional cricketer.

In connection with this brutal crime, a teenager has been arrested and charged.
