In light of the upcoming peak of the 2025 Carnival season, the Police Administration is calling on the public to prioritize safety and responsible behavior during the festivities.

With events such as J’Ouvert and Last Lap on the horizon, authorities are emphasizing the importance of adhering to established safety guidelines. These measures are designed to protect participants and ensure that the celebrations are conducted smoothly.

The Police Administration has also issued a specific appeal to drivers and operators of large vehicles, including trucks and music trailers. It is essential that these vehicles are equipped with the necessary safety features to prevent accidents and ensure the safety of revellers.

Event organizers and band leaders are likewise encouraged to designate safety marshals whose roles will include facilitating crowd navigation and maintaining order along the parade routes.

Additionally, the public is reminded of the ongoing “No Weapon” policy, which prohibits any weapons or dangerous items at all Carnival-related events and venues throughout the season.

The Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda is dedicated to ensuring that Carnival 2025 concludes safely and peacefully. Authorities express their gratitude for public cooperation and urge everyone to contribute to a secure and enjoyable celebration free from incidents.
