Minister of Festivals Daryll Matthew has praised the police for their significant presence during Antigua Carnival activities, particularly during this morning’s Jouvert celebrations.

In a Facebook post, he expressed gratitude to all security personnel for ensuring the event has remained safe and orderly.

“Big thanks to all our security personnel for keeping Antigua Carnival safe and smooth so far,” he stated, acknowledging both those visibly present and the many officers patrolling the city.
