Twin Island Media Joins Forces with WTP Media Network Following Wake-Up Call Hiatus

After more than two years on the air, the popular political talk show Wake-Up Call aired its final episode in February 2025. Since then, listeners have been wondering about the show’s future, and now Twin Island Media has finally spoken out.

In a heartfelt statement, the team thanked their loyal audience for the support and concern during their unexpected silence. They apologized for the lack of communication and explained the challenges that led to the show’s pause.

Running a media operation these days isn’t easy, especially with only two hours of airtime each day. The team struggled to generate enough revenue to keep going and explored options like buying their own studio, but the costs and timing just didn’t line up.

But there’s good news. After thorough discussions with chairman of the WTP Media Network, E. Paul Chet Greene, Twin Island Media has agreed to join forces with WTP. Together, they plan to create new programs that continue the spirit of Twin Island Media, a space “where all voices in the news contend in an atmosphere conducive to understanding and mutual respect.”

Though they’re joining a larger network, Twin Island Media will remain its own entity, with more news on its future to come.

The team also gave a big thank you to everyone who supported them along the way, from advertisers and guests to listeners and critics.

As they embark on this new chapter, Twin Island Media invites everyone to stay tuned and join them on the journey ahead.
