
The projected path of Tropical Storm Erin (NHC)
According to the National Hurricane Center, Tropical Storm Erin has formed in the Eastern Atlantic Ocean. According to current projections, the storm is not slated to hit Antigua and Barbuda, but impacts on the islands are always possible.
The storm is currently moving west at 20 mph, and has maximum sustained winds of 45mph.
This is the 5th named storm of the 2025 Atlantic Hurricane season.
As always, experts and authorities are encouraging residents of the twin-island nation, along with the rest of the Caribbean to monitor all threats and prepare for the hurricane season.
