Football team from St. Mary’s South set to compete in St. Kitts

The St. Mary’s South constituency will be fielding an 18-member football squad to compete in several friendly matches in St. Kitts.

The eight-day trip is a tour being put on by the MP for the area Kelvin ‘Shugy’ Simon.

The team includes national player Tyrique Tonge, Emerson Henry (Captain), Marley Martin (Assistant Captain), Andre Martin, Dequan Lewis, Alex Joseph, Quinton Roy, Kadeem Burton, Obediah Browne, Devlyn Williams, Denneson Stevens, Zeke Smith, Aquez Singh, Romario Christian, Kayon London, Raheem Horseford, Joel Martin and Shaquan Telemaque.

Koufee DeSilver is the head coach.

The team has been in training since March.

They will travel to St. Kitts next week where they will play three matches.

  1. This is a great initiative and a well-deserved reward for the talented footballers in St. Mary’s South. It’s not every day a constituency team gets to travel for a football tour.
