Regional forecasters are keeping a close eye on two weather disturbances in the Atlantic as the hurricane season continues to show increased activity.
The first system, classified as Disturbance 1, currently carries a 10 percent chance of development within 48 hours and a 60 percent chance over the next seven days. Meteorologists noted a positive update for the Eastern Caribbean, as the system’s projected track has shifted away from the islands.
Meanwhile, Disturbance 2 is showing a 30 percent chance of formation in both the short and longer term.
Although neither system poses an immediate threat to the region, officials are urging residents to remain alert and prepared, as conditions can change quickly during the peak of the hurricane season.

Even if it’s not heading here, we should remember our neighbors in the region could still be impacted.
That Saharan dust keeping them back a little, but once conditions change, anything can happen.
Please keep out at sea
Hope both systems just pass out to sea, we’ve had enough stress already.
