  1. Had police been doing more patrols we would probably have less of these incidents. I know they cannot be everywhere all the time but at least their presence sometimes could help

    • Antigua is a bit too big for the officers that we have. And you can’t say if police were patrolling cause the officers been patrolling

    • True, though police don’t even enforce the law sadly! People ignore road rules and park recklessly and speed and police are on the road seeing it and still don’t ticket them.. allowing lawless behavior encourages further such behavior.

    • We seems not to be conscious of the fact we as a nation welcomes to fact that our Caribbean brothers and sisters are given opportunity to live and work in our country, I am of the opinion that this sudden hike in break INS and robberies can very well be a fact that some these people allowed to live in the country are not properly screened and some likely are ex convicts with history of crimes in their respective counties nevertheless I will not say that Antiguans don’t commit crime but check the stats of the integration level recently and the crime increase we are having two sets of people that are known for their barbarous ways are not living and working in our country and in my opinion these people should be looked at more closely by screening them vigorously before they are allowed to dwell in the country….. The sudden influx of vincentians is something to look at along with the other islands.. ( my opinion)

  4. Wow… it’s really shocking to hear about so many bold crimes happening all over Antigua and Barbuda in such a short time. Homes, businesses, even a school parking lot—this is frightening! Residents must be feeling really unsafe right now. It’s hard to imagine living with that kind of fear in your own community.

    • I’m not in fear and I don’t think a large majority of people on 268 are in fear

  5. We need to employ more officers perhaps. It seems that many of our young men are on the wrong track. Some may end up being killed. Remember what we just witnessed?
