Police are investigating the theft of a power tool from a business place in the city last week.

According to reports, the incident occurred around 11 a.m. on Friday, August 22, 2025, when a man entered the store pretending to be a customer.

He allegedly took a yellow-and-black power drill, valued at $1,200 EC, from a shelf before fleeing the premises.

Investigators say CCTV footage captured images of the suspect, which are being reviewed as part of the inquiry.

The matter remains under active investigation.
