Their Excellencies Sir Rodney Williams, Governor-General of Antigua and Barbuda, and Lady Williams recently received a courtesy call from a visiting delegation from the South China University of Technology.

The team, led by Professor Ping Su of the School of Foreign Languages, included one undergraduate student and two PhD candidates in the second and third years of their four-year doctoral programmes. The delegation is in Antigua and Barbuda for a month-long cultural immersion focused on the study of Caribbean culture.

During the visit, both sides exchanged perspectives on cultural understanding and academic cooperation, underscoring the shared values of education, knowledge exchange, and international collaboration.
