PDV Caribe has resumed its distribution of utility vouchers for pensioners at the Multipurpose Cultural Centre, continuing a programme that has supported seniors since 2007.
Pensioners with surnames I through M are collecting their $100 APUA bill subsidy booklets today. General Manager Jellette Ralph reminded beneficiaries to attend on their assigned day to ensure they receive their vouchers.
Distribution will continue on Thursday for surnames N to S, and Friday for the remaining pensioners, with particular attention to T-Z. An extra collection day has been scheduled for Saturday, 30 August, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for anyone who misses their assigned day.
The programme, which first issued booklets in 2008, has provided consistent assistance to pensioners, helping to offset the cost of electricity and supporting their household budgets.

$100 is helpful, but electricity costs are rising. Could it be increased?
I had the same thought. But the initiative is appreciated
Great move APUA
Pensioners deserve all the support they can get. This initiative shows that even a little help goes a long way.
