PDV Caribe Antigua and Barbuda (PDVCAB) is celebrating its 20th anniversary this week, marking two decades of social investment and community development.
The milestone was launched with a gala dinner and appreciation ceremony at Casa Palmadita on Saturday evening, attended by Governor General Sir Rodney Williams, Minister of Utilities Melford Nicholas, and others.

On Sunday, PDVCAB staff and management joined the congregation at Ebenezer Methodist Church, where Rev. Dr. Cuthbert Edwards delivered a sermon on grace. General Manager Jellette Ralph offered reflections on the organization’s journey, while Projects Officer Kishma Tonge took part in the readings.
The celebrations continue throughout the week, including media appearances, a visit to the Soup Kitchen on Tuesday, Customer Appreciation Day on Wednesday, and an outreach trip to Barbuda on Friday.

Over the years, PDVCAB has become best known for its utility subsidy programme, which provides monthly relief to more than 5,000 residents. But its impact has gone far beyond. Since its establishment in 2005, the entity has funded major national projects from the Sir Vivian Richards Cricket Stadium and Codrington Airport upgrades to youth training initiatives, hurricane relief, and the installation of streetlights and water systems.

As PDVCAB turns 20, its leadership says the anniversary is not only a moment to celebrate past achievements but also to recommit to serving the people of Antigua and Barbuda in the years ahead.

Honestly speaking they have done alot for the economy. Especially with helping the elders with vouchers. This is why we have to remain loyal to venezuella
Congratulations on your anniversary and we wish you the best going forward
20 years ago, nobody thought PDVCAB would become such a part of daily life here. Shows how one organization can shape a whole country quietly.
The outreach to Barbuda is a good gesture, hope it’s not just symbolic, because Barbuda still needs consistent investment.
People often forget how much this partnership has contributed to Antigua and Barbuda
