A&B set to host Final Four Volleyball Tournament

Tonight, the Antigua and Barbuda Amateur Volleyball Association (ABAVA) will begin its hosting of the Men’s Eastern Caribbean Volleyball Association (ECVA) Final Four competition.

The event will feature the top four teams including champions Antigua and Barbuda from the recently held ECVA Championships here in Antigua.

Antigua and Barbuda who just returned last month from Mexico at the Pan American Cup will hope to continue their dominance on the regional circuit. They will face tough competition from rivals, St. Lucia, 2nd-place finishers, Dominica and Grenada.

The team will face Grenada tonight at 8:30. Before that encounter, St. Lucia will battle Dominica at 6 at the YMCA Volleyball Indoor facility.

Games will continue on Saturday and conclude in Sunday evening.

Tomorrow morning, Antigua and Barbuda will play Dominica at 11 while at 9, St. Lucia and Grenada will face off.

That same evening, Antigua and Barbuda will battle St. Lucia at 9 while at 7, Dominica will play Grenada.

The finals will be played on Sunday after these preliminary games.
