The Antigua Public Utilities Authority (APUA) has moved swiftly to address mounting public concern over recent power outages, convening an emergency meeting with senior officials and engineers on Monday.
The meeting, chaired by APUA Chief Executive Officer John Bradshaw, brought together leadership from the Electricity and Water Business Units to review the series of outages that have affected several communities in recent weeks. While the incidents stemmed from unrelated causes, engineers presented detailed assessments outlining the faults and contributing factors.
Officials also acknowledged the wider impact on customers, noting that interruptions in electricity service had disrupted water production facilities, further inconveniencing households and businesses.
During the discussions, the team examined the root causes of the failures and committed to reinforcing preventative maintenance measures aimed at reducing the likelihood of future disruptions.
Bradshaw assured customers that APUA remains focused on strengthening system reliability and pledged that corrective action will be prioritized to restore public confidence.

Ummm. We need to know what cause these issues sir. And how you going to address them so they don’t occur.
Are you apart of the APUA board? Does the government shares details about meetings done?
this ah one big talk shop as nutten na go change. APUA just go do people whatever them feel and when you call to inquire, they have the poor staff lying to the public day and night
So what exactly is the problem cause this is too consistent lately
For a company deemed “necessary for life”, APUA is letting me down slowly
plenty excuses from APUA
