Police are investigating a break-in at the Medical Surgical Associates office at Woods Centre, owned by Dr. Joey John.
The burglary is believed to have occurred between the evening of September 26 and the early hours of September 28 in the Gambles area. According to reports, intruders pried open a rear door on the eastern side of the building to gain entry. They then forced their way into the accounts office, broke open a locked filing cabinet, and stole an undisclosed amount of cash and cheques.
Investigators say the burglars left the premises through the same door they had forced open. The scene has been processed by forensic officers, and CCTV footage will be reviewed as inquiries continue.
