Man Hospitalized After Group Attack in Nut Grove

Police are investigating a wounding incident in Nut Grove that left one man injured and hospitalized late Saturday night.

According to reports, the attack took place around 10:20 p.m. on September 27, when the victim was walking through the area after visiting a relative.

He was confronted and beaten by a group of men. Investigators say the victim indicated that he is able to identify those responsible.

The man sustained an injury to his left arm and was transported to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre, where he was treated for a bleeding wound and kept for observation. Medical staff confirmed he arrived in stable condition and received bandages to the injured area.

Police conducted interviews at the hospital, issued a medical form for further evaluation, and provided directives to the complainant.

The matter has been referred to officers attached to the Nut Grove Police Post, and senior investigators have been notified as inquiries continue.
